Delete your BeanCounter account
Delete from the app
- Open BeanCounter and sign in.
- On the Your organizations screen, tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner, then Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom, tap Delete account, then confirm.
In app versions up to 1.0.5, Delete account is in the ⋮ menu itself.
Deletion happens immediately and can't be undone.
Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email Crave.software@gmail.com with the subject “BeanCounter account deletion”, sent from the email address on your account. We'll confirm and delete the account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account (email, name and profile photo from Google, Apple or email sign-in).
- Your user profile, including your phone number and notification preferences.
- The push notification registrations for your devices.
- Every organization where you're the only owner, including all of its events and counts. Other members lose access to them.
- Your membership in all other organizations. If you co-own one, it stays with the remaining owners.
- Pending invitations sent to your email address, and invitations into organizations that were deleted.
- Organization-creation requests submitted with your contact email.
What is kept
- Count entries you recorded in organizations that aren't deleted. They belong to that organization's event history, and after deletion they're linked only to an anonymous user ID, not your name or email.
- Crash reports and usage analytics, which Firebase keeps for a limited retention period (Analytics per our project setting, Crashlytics for 90 days). They aren't linked to your name or email.
